Description

  • Meets once a week after school on Wednesdays (sign-up at lunch, ch 11)
  • Steve, Larry, and Jennifer also practice Wednesday chess at each other’s homes (and Larry’s Chess Challenger)
  • School team meets vs area schools; Christmas-break conference Swiss; end-of-February invitational hosted by Larry’s outside/MHS club
  • Ratings: Steve ~Class C; Jennifer slightly higher rating than Steve by Oct 1977 (ch 14); Larry stronger (outside club; Class C Cincinnati tournament win)
