Book summary

Senior Year runs May 1984 – May 26, 1985. After junior finals, Subdeacon Michael Loucks works RA and Quick Mart, closes loops with Tasha, Jocelyn, and Clarissa, and meets Elizaveta Kozlova through Viktor and parish alms work after Deacon Grigory dies at Moore Memorial. He scores the MCAT at the 98th percentile, interviews across the Midwest, and locks McKinley Medical School with Clarissa and Sandy. Betrothal to Elizaveta (Sept 30, 1984) imposes chastity through a May wedding while Angie’s schizophrenia crisis, family warfare over Liz and Paul, and a public debate with Rev. Saddler test his vocation. Spring brings last undergrad courses, Code Blue’s formation and auditorium debut, valedictory selection, and BS Biochemistry, summa cum laude on May 25. The book ends May 26 with the Dance of Isaiah wedding, Country Club reception, and wedding night — Europe and the July 28 diaconate still ahead.
